Federal Register API
All documents come from the Federal Register API (v1), published by the Office of the Federal Register (National Archives) and the U.S. Government Publishing Office. Federal Register content is a work of the U.S. Government. We ask for documents matching the full-text term "Ohio" published in the last 14 days, every two hours, with a pause between requests and a user agent that names this site.
What we keep
- Title, type, agencies, publication date, comment close date and effective date, exactly as the API gives them.
- The Federal Register's summary (abstract), shortened to 600 characters at a word and labelled as theirs.
- Links to the document's page on FederalRegister.gov and its official PDF on GovInfo.gov. We link to no other host.
Limits
- "Ohio in the full text" comes from the Federal Register's own search; such documents may mention Ohio only in passing (for example, in a list of states).
- Documents that concern Ohio without using the word "Ohio" are not on the line.
- Corrections and later actions are separate Federal Register documents and appear as their own entries.
